Join us Labor Day Weekend, August 30 - September 1, 2019, as we host our 53rd Annual Gymnastics Association of Texas Convention at the beautiful Renaissance Hotel in Austin, Texas.

Late Prices – August 16 – August 29 @ 11:55 p.m. & Onsite

Look closely at your ticket options before choosing, but know that you can substitute names of your participants by emailing the registration director at by August 20th, as space allows.

Registration includes ALL Regular Open Lectures, Yearly Membership dues, Access to Membership Directory, and Banquet Ticket.

We are offering an online special.  Purchase 10 registrations and get the 11th Regular (non-ITP) registration for free.


We rotate our Instructor Training Programs (ITP) each year, so they are not all offered each year. The ITP courses for 2019 are listed below.  To learn more about which course is right for you check out the detailed ITP course descriptions found in the ITP Courses tab.  You must attend the entire ITP course to receive your certificate. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation for any off-site courses.

  • ITP 101 Rec - 10 hr course- Sat/Sun * (Some off-site)

  • ITP 102 Preschool - 10 hr course Sat/Sun * (Some off-site)

  • ITP 103 Boys - 6 hr course Saturday

  • ITP 210 XCEL - 6 hr course Sunday

  • ITP 501 T&T - 10 hr course Sat/Sun * (Some off-site)

  • ITP 701 Sports Science - 6 hr course Saturday

* Attendees are responsible for their own transportation for any off-site courses.


GAT is green, so we do not print out hard copies of the schedule. The hotel will have the daily schedule rolling on their video screens. You may also download the app to view this year's schedule, which is still subject to some changes at


During the course of the weekend, several organizations will offer, at the host hotel, “add-on” courses, testing and meetings.  You'll need to contact those associations/organizations for more information about cost and registration for these non-GAT offerings.  We will post on the GAT schedule the meetings we are aware of.   


You will need to remember to arrive in time to pick up your name badges to attend GAT.  To help move the registration line, only one person is needed to pick up packet for Group Registration. There will also be forms at that registration booth for onsite registration that can be filled out and turn in with your payment.

BANQUET 2019 - Saturday, August 31st
”Come Home to GAT” is this year’s theme and we will be hosting a Homecoming Carnival for our banquet. So come ready for some FUN! In addition to our dinner, we will have carnival games, inflatables, cotton candy, popcorn and more. So come casual to truly let loose and have fun….think about wearing your favorite football jersey, cheerleader uniform, football mums, etc. Who knows…you might even see a homecoming queen and king!

The banquet will begin after the awards ceremony ends, around 7:30 p.m.
Wristbands are required to attend banquet. You can exchange your banquet ticket for wristband at the downstairs registration area anytime on Saturday until 5 PM.


Can I purchase an additional banquet ticket?  If extra tickets are available, they can be purchased onsite for $55 per person.  All guest, ages one and up, must have a ticket.

Substitution/Transfer Policy?  There will be a $25 fee for any changes in name or ticket types made after August 20th and before August 29th.  There will be no name changes made after August 29th.

Refund policy? ALL refunds must be requested in writing by either US Mail or by email and sent to the address on the registration form or to Requests must be postmarked before midnight on 8/15/19. Refunds are available less a $45.00 processing fee. Absolutely no refunds after 8/15/19.
